At the Taitaja Finnish National Skills Competition, students can acquaint themselves with forty different occupations. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to see talented youths demonstrating the best of their professional skills. Taitaja 2011 is an excellent choice for a class trip! Students will have the opportunity to try out practical skills in different professional areas.

Study Paths

A handy way of familiarizing oneself with various professions is to walk through the Study Paths that will be built in the competition village. The tasks of the Study Path will help students plan their studies and their careers. Visitors can choose the study paths they are most interested in and can follow guided tours of the paths.

Taitaja9 Competition for 9th graders

The 9th graders compete in craftsmanship in teams of three people each. Teams compete in local and regional competitions and the winning teams go on to the finals, which are held in conjunction with the Taitaja Finnish National Skills Competition. The winners of the Taitaja9 competition will be awarded with a brand new scooter!

The study visits take about two hours.
